Blondie - Heart Of Glass

Really my title isn't that great. What I mean to say is what happened to the music of the 70's and 80's compared to music today of the same genres. There completely different! No one makes songs like Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Kiss, and Alice Copper etc. anymore they put there own specialty into all their music. Alice Cooper had an amazing stage presence and put on a show. Blondie for instance all of her songs were very unique and original and with that I would like to close on that with one of her songs that I love Heart of Glass.

Welcome to my Blog.

Hey Everyone I would like to introduce you all to my new blog and give you a rundown on what I plan to be posting. First off I basically am going to post everything you will see videos, poems, do it yourself posts and everything. To start off this blog I wanted to do something big so I'm going to post an excerpt from a book I am working on writing and I want to know what you think and I understand that my writing skills are poor. I hated writing in school.

Vincent ran quickly down the hallway. His chest was burning as if his heart was about to explode. Looking back as he ran he could see the shadows of two men cast against the wall. The only thought in his head is I must keep running. Dashing into the stairwell he jumped the railing all the way down from the tenth floor all the way to the ground catching the railing of the stairs as he went. As Vincent looked through the doorway out of the stairwell into the lobby of the apartment building he saw a man with black hair and sharply cut goatee in a black leather jacket standing by the main entrance. "hurry he had to have gone this way!" Shouted one of Vincent's pursuers from up the stairwell. Vincent looked back into the lobby noticing that the man was carrying a gun he could see it's polished barrel sticking out from underneath his jacket with his hand in close proximity as if to draw it. He was cornered his only way of escape was through the front and with his pursuers behind him heading back up the stairs was out of the question. Closing his eye's he could only pray for a miracle. ------ Drake are sure that it's ok for us to be doing this? I thought boss told us that he wants to avoid starting a mob war with the carvelli's." questioned the black man at the wheel of the car. Looking up from the gun that he was inspecting Drake replied calmly "Mister Farera will not be involved in this incident. I intend on there being no witnesses. The only reason that I'm doing this is because it was Laura's request that I help her cousin." "Your going soft Drake. You know that?" replied the driver as he look up at the rear view mirror to see Drake staring straight back at him. His gaze cold and showing no signs of emotion. "Micky?" said Drake questioningly. "Yeah Drake." "Shut up and drive! We have a long day ahead of us." "Whatever you say. You better be glad i like you or i would have killed you by know." replied Micky with a smile. Drake looked back at him with a smile of his own as he put the clip in the gun.
